HOW THIS ALL WORKS
First off, welcome to Aurum Arcanum!
The process of hand making jewelry goes back thousands of years. Now, just as then, it all starts with a design.
As you peruse my site, you'll see designs in various stages of completeness, from a simple sketch, to a 3D model, to components manufactured, to finished pieces.
Generally speaking, the process is as follows:

Find a piece or design you like, and order it.

If desired, contact me about modifications (different stone types, metal types, etc.)

Give me 4-6 weeks (on average) to complete your piece and get it sent out to you.

Enjoy your new, beautiful, hand-made piece of jewelry!
ABOUT ME
I'm Scott, your friendly neighborhood metal smith. I started Aurum Arcanum to allow myself to delve back in to the mystique and intricacy from which the jewelry industry, as a whole, seems to be steadily marching.
By this I mean forgoing most of the modern aspects of jewelry creation (3D printing, loss wax casting, etc), and getting back to the roots of precious metal smithing. So that means plenty of heat, copious use of hammers and files, and a fervent passion for the craft.
