'Shattered' is a piece I've designed for Mental Health Awareness Month.
In the time since the pandemic began, mental health has become even more important. We've had to adjust to a very different lifestyle, and have basically lived in a semi-depressed state since its onset. The lack of ability to physically be with friends and family, along with having to deal with the difficulties of quarantine, have taken a toll on our already stressed mental states. For those who were already suffering from depression, anxiety, etc., the effect has been particularly damning.
 
This piece is my way of hopefully bringing more awareness to the fact that we all need to be more conscious of our mental state, do everything we can to help those around us, and demonstrate that even when shattered (internally or externally), we can still know ourselves to be beautiful.

The pendant features a platinum background made to look like shattered glass, with a semicolon (the symbol of mental health awareness) in its center, set with a red sapphire. 
It is bordered by lab grown diamonds set in 18 karat yellow gold.
